Hello! I’m Emma. In 2012 my husband and I opened our first business, a bike shop in Hertfordshire. A year later we opened another and ran them until we realised we needed a lifestyle shift and the sea was calling us. Having relocated to Cornwall I launched my own handmade craft business in 2019, selling my work on my own website and Etsy.
I have always loved coming up with ideas and getting creative. I’m a self confessed serial crafter wanting to have a go at everything and buying ALL of the equipment to do so. I love business and I love crafting, and luckily for me I’ve been able to combine them together!
OUR STORY
The idea for Craft T Club has been brewing for a while and has gone through a few variations before landing where we are today. In 2022 I got married, DIY’d almost everything and our guests kept suggesting that I do it professionally. Whilst it sounded like a nice idea, I prefer to try a variety of crafts and not be confined to others’ specifications. At Christmas, everyone was having a go at wreath-making workshops and I was making fudge ready for our annual family tradition of hand-making a gift. The idea of hosting workshops came back to me.
I realised that I already had the equipment and skills to teach a few classes myself. Through my craft business, I had made lots of connections with creatives who I knew would love to share their skills with others if only they had somewhere suitable to host a workshop. So during the Crimbo Limbo, the idea bubbled away until it formed something I thought I could actually make work. Fast forward (or do lots of work) until Autumn of 2023 and the first Craft T Club workshops began!
