Wire Words Workshop – March day

In this 2-hour workshop, you’ll first learn the basics of how to work with wire. We will then create a wire word of your choice you can opt to use plain wire or add knitted rope. We will then move on to designing your own animal out of a single piece of wire. (If you would like to make a specific animal please bring along a side/ profile photo of it).

The workshop will include:

• Explanation of how to work with wire and the tools needed
• Create a  knitted wire word
• Design and make an animal using a single piece of wire

You’ll leave this workshop with the knowledge needed to create your own design and 2 finished projects. 

This workshop includes all the necessary tools and materials needed to complete your wire art. 

This workshop is suitable for anyone, even if you don’t think you have a creative bone in your body!  Please note that bending wire does require some strength in your dominant hand, if you struggle with this, your tutor will assist you.
